Dr. Rhetta Standifer is an assistant professor of management at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. She received her Ph.D. and MBA from the University of Missouri. She teaches organizational behavior, leadership, and conflict resolution at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Her research has been published in Human Relations, Academy of Management Learning and Education, Journal of Conflict Resolution, Business Horizons, Ethics and Critical Thinking, and Research on Managing Groups and Teams: Time in Groups. Her current research interests include temporal issues, teams and multi-team systems (MTS), conflict, and interorganizational relationships, particularly within an e-commerce or technological context. She serves on the editorial board of the Academy of Management Learning & Education Journal.
Dr. Standifer likes to use readings and examples from the "real-world" that go beyond the textbook - her goal is to make classes relevant, useful, and interesting. Dr. Standifer uses experiential learning and small group discussions to give students a chance to integrate and connect the material from lectures and readings to personal experience and practical application.
